As you are certainly aware, there are dozens of patriot groups making efforts to improve our government and economy. Nearly everyone points out that these groups would be more effective, and make more progress toward their common goals, "if only they would work together". Unfortunately, human vanity prevents any group from subordinating itself to an "umbrella group" that might be formed over all the others. Therefore, we have come up with the idea of creating an organization that subordinates itself to all the others, making every effort to support what those organizations are already doing.

We call our organization FREE AMERICA NOW, and our goal is to provide education and resources to make existing (and future) patriot groups more effective. One method of doing this would be to advertise activist events using the newsletter lists of several similar organizations. Rather than creating a large national organization, we want to focus on supporting local groups who can help to rebuild America from the ground up, starting at the city and county level. Here is our mission statement:

Our mission is to reclaim our unalienable rights. We provide educational materials, measurable-action steps, ongoing guidance and motivation. We work with and support the efforts of like-minded groups and individuals working to re-establish the fundamental institutions of self-government. We are inspiring a massive bottom-up movement to restore our Constitutional Republic in every county and state while instilling principles of individual liberty and personal responsibility.

The first project we have adopted is Sheriff Mack's effort to educate two hundred county sheriffs, helping them to understand the significance of the oath they took, and the true constitutional power that they wield. We are in the process of raising $200,000 for the purpose of funding the travel costs of participating sheriffs. We agree with Sheriff Mack that this project could legitimately enforce the Tenth Amendment power that states have over the federal government.
